Statistics

The Health Board produce statistics and management information on how we are performing on a regular basis. These include:

• Mortality figures (our most recent mortality document with details of the latest Welsh Risk Adjusted Mortality Index, RAMI, SHMI and Crude Mortality rates)
• Waiting times to see, and be treated by a consultant (known as Referral to Treatment)
• Emergency department waiting times (4 hour wait target)
• The number of beds by specialty and site, and their occupancy rates

We also regularly submit these figures to Welsh Government to enable them to monitor performance, and plan future priorities.

All data produced and submitted to Welsh Government adheres to the definitions included in the NHS Wales Data Dictionary.

The Welsh Government's StatsWales service publishes data for all Health Boards on waiting times, performance etc.
