The Mental Health and Learning Disability (MH&LD) division offers the opportunity to play a vital role in supporting service users and citizens.

MH&LD services include Acute Psychiatric Inpatient Units located within the grounds of Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor, Glan Clwyd Hospital in Bodelwyddan, Maelor Hospital in Wrexham, and Bryn Y Neuadd Hospital in Llanfairfechan, where there is a Forensic Medium Secure Unit and Learning Disability (LD) Inpatient Units. There are also Rehab Inpatient units and Enhanced Community care for LD service users and a variety of community services and specialist services across North Wales. 

Staff working in MH & LD meet and work with people who require support, care, assessment and intervention for their mental health and also with their learning disabilities.

There are also numerous services within non-clinical teams across the division. For example, the Partnerships Planning & Strategy team and roles that support the Divisional Senior Leadership Team.
