Mental Health Act: Associate Hospital Manager

We are looking for members of the public to join our current Mental Health Act - Associate Hospital Managers cohort. 

An Associate Hospital Manager is not a "manager" responsible for running a hospital, the role is voluntary by lay people who conduct hearings to review the care, treatment and detention of patients who are detained under the Mental Health Act. Based on the evidence received by those within this role, a patient may be discharged from their sections. 

There are no specific skills or qualifications required as training is provided in full. Suitable persons will have strong communications and people skills with an interest in mental health issues. 

There is a sessional fee for this role and contracted hours are not specified.
