Kite: Intensive Community Support

This service is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Weekends and Bank Holidays, 1pm to 9pm. 

Kite includes a number of specialist staff including nurses clinical psychologists, psychiatrists and a teacher. As a team we provide intensive community Child and Adolescent Mental Health support. We are based in the North Wales Adolescent Service (NWAS) building in Abergele and also travel to young people's homes within the community if and when this is helpful, also working with other services when more intensive support is needed. We also work closely with education staff to support young people with their education and training needs. 

How can we help you?

We will work closely with you and/ or with your family and carers to help you manage your difficulties. We recognise that every young person like you is unique and we will aim to provide you with a level of support that is appropriate to support your own strengths and needs.
